About us

At Cardi Regeneration Project, our journey began back in 2022, with a passion for fishing and a desire to give back to our local community. We saw the potential in revitalizing the fishing pond and creating a space for fishing enthusiasts to come together. With our Fishing Membership, Fishing competitions, and Youth Fishing Programs, we are committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all ages. Our team are all volunteers and are all dedicated to preserving the environment and promoting safe and environmentally friendly fishing practices. Join us and be a part of our mission to regenerate the local fishing pond for the benefit of the community.

Are there age restrictions for participating in Fishing Events?
Fishing Events are open to anglers of all ages, with separate categories for youth and adults.

What educational resources are provided in Youth Fishing Programs?

Youth Fishing Programs offer hands-on fishing experiences, educational workshops, and conservation activities for young anglers. We work closely with local organisations to help encourage youth involvment in nature based activities. How much is it to join the angling club?

Memberships run from 16th June to 15th June. Adults cost £20 per year and Juniors are free upto to the age of 16 years and £10 for concession. Day tickets are available for £5 a day. All monies collected from memberships are invested into the pond. We can also supply equipment however a deposit must be paid. Contact us via socials or contact form below.

SPORTS WALES ARTICLE

Angling

Angling, put simply, is fishing with a rod and a line. Think summer days of setting the bait, casting and reeling in. 

And the rallying call from Silures Angling Society in South Wales is Tackle box, not Xbox and the club hopes to encourage more people into the sport of angling with a focus on families and youngsters. Set up by two young Dads, the club aims to not just enjoy the sport of fishing, but also the joys of being outdoors at one with nature.
